    Our Ford cuv needs fixed from a light t-bone after a lady pulled out in front of me. Need a good shop here in the city that her insurance will deal with, Allstate. Not rocket science, just need solid work done to get the car back in shape on her insurance dime.

    bumper cap, support behind, fender alignment and paint match...

    thanks for any help

    I was extremely impressed with Gold Coast Auto Body. I would definitely recommend them. Very professional, and excellent customer service. More importantly, my car looks better than new. I got rear ended at a stop light in my CLK.

    EDIT: This girl's insurance was also Allstate and the service/damage was double the estimate and they dealt with her insurance company 100%. Since the cost was more than 500 dollars over the estimate, an Allstate agent had to come out and verify the work/service was more than what they estimated. This caused a little delay, but overall it went smooth.

    Gold Coast Auto Body on Division is a reputable shop. I have been dealing with them for 15 years.

    Elite Auto Body is also great. They are on Belmont just east of Long. Jimmy does fantastic work.

    What area of the city do you live? I know body shops all over the city.

    BIG sorry to go AWOL for a couple of days, had a deadline to get some work out and online has been to check mail only...

    Thanks for the thoughts, I'm in Ukrainian village as to that question.

    As for Gold coast we had our Passat worked on there and was not happy with the knock off hatch we received after our car was rear-ended while parked.

    I'll look into the other place mentioned this week. Any other suggestions welcome...

    I had a very good experience with Elite circa 2001 when my wife's Saturn was side swiped by a drunk driver. They took care of all of the insurance paperwork and their work was excellent.

    In addition to doing alot of exotics I am certified by Allstate, State Farm, Chubb, Travelers, AAA, Farmers, AIG Private Group and a few others...Not in the city but not too far off the highway.

    looked at Elite today and met Matt.

    made arrangements to get our car fixed there week after next.

    very nice shop, clean, orderly & a beautiful red fiat 600 there as someone's very nice runabout...

    so far so good.

    will let you know the the end results
