Boeing Black

Boeing is releasing a new secure smart phone that has a self destruct feature. Pretty cool. Shame it has pretty antiquated specs though.

I wonder though, it says that if you try to open the phone it will erase the data.

What happens if/when you drop it and the case cracks? New phone time?

 

I've had the same phone for the last 7 years. It has a few scratches, and a bit of wear & tear, but I've never dropped it. If I did? I'd expect it to break and I might need a new one.

 

I think that all current platforms offer the option to locate the phone and to wipe it remotely.
