Speaking of ovals - IndyCar just announced that Iowa will be back on the schedule next year.

The race is on NBCSN at 8pm eastern Saturday. Everything else is on Peacock.

So Will Power takes pole. That may not mean much when you have a long race with probably four pit stops and who knows how many yellow flag periods.

So too many marbles and they hold up the race to sweep the track and open up a racing line? Has that ever happened before on an oval?

Crazy race. Bummed for Herta, impressed with how O'ward kept his cool for solid P2. Rough year for Rossi, but a
tight championship battle. Looking forward to PIR, Laguna Seca, and Long Beach...I do wish Laguna Secs was the finale though.

Note to Grossjean: No tire warmers in Indycar. :p

Got the DVR set to catch the replay midnight Mon/Tue.
The joys of satellite TV: weather interruption for the last 10 laps. :(
(I gather nothing much changed, though.)
