    This time tomorrow I will be on a Lufthansa 747-400 probably somewhere way up north over Canda near the north pole on my way to Frankfurt to start my first trip to Europe! Ill be going on concert tour with an orchestra from down here representing the finest young musicians in the country! Im proud to be the principal bassist of that orchestra as well :)

    From Frankfurt we will have a rather long layover and transfer to Rome for the start of our actual tour. Over the next two weeks I will be doing several concerts in Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, Salzburg, and Vienna!

    First time going to Europe but it certainly wont be my last! I have many plans to return, especially to Maranello, where I unfortunately wont be going this time around...Either way, expect many pictures and many stories when I return :)

    Have a great trip - take lots of photos. I've been to Vienna as I mentioned at CC and it is magnificent. Your other destinations should be jewels in their own right.

    You'll have the time of your life. I'm heading over to Europe myself in a little under two weeks myself. I've been there numerous times before and I always look forward to a visit abroad.

    You'll love Vienna - especially as a classical musician. I've been there a couple times now and it's fantastic. In any city you visit, do your best if at all possible to take some long walks and just soak up the atmosphere. I know you're there to work and you probably have a tight schedule, but it's fantastic just to sit in an outdoor cafe an have a bier or coffee and take in your surroundings.
