Bonhams Private event at Monterey--what is it and where is it?

I heard about it but on the Bonhams website I found only mention of a "private auction." Is this Private Event at their booth at the Quail? If it is, how could you go if you didn't have a Quail ticket--or is this at a tent outside the Quail-- maybe 1000 ft. away? What will the Private Event consist of? Cocktails and appetizers? (Not that I'm interested just because of the food...) Thanks for any clues....
