Does anyone have a source for one of these? I have tried the usual suspects: Euro spares, Ricambi, etc. Unobtanium supply is making a new mold and has 11 customers waiting but no ETA on completion. Mine disintegrated.

Not sure what you mean by "bonnet latch housing." I have multiple spare hood and rear deck latches for sale cheap if you need one. Best...Jim

I think he is talking about the plastic cup of the latch release handle. He stated desintegrated, what else could it be.

That would sound about right. Testarossa is the same part as a 308, not that they're any easier to find though but it opens up your options.

I sourced one about a year ago from Dennis McCann (All Ferrari Parts)

Close, but not exactly the same. The TR piece can be used on the 308 if the plastic support is modified slightly. On the 308, the cable end is larger than what's used on the TR. Hence, the hole for the cable must be enlarged from approximately 2mm to 10mm. Without the mod, the cable "crimped on lug" can get hung up behind the latch, hence preventing the latch from returning to its rest position. (This was found to be the case on a Euro 328 rear latch replacement.) Who knows what cables and crimps were used on the other models?

And am I wrong but remember on the 308 the front and rear are not the same. Where the cable enter there is a difference too. I bought a used one for one and fixed the other on my car.

Its close enough that it took you longer to write your post than it takes to modify it to fit the 308. The testarossa has the smaller hole for the cable to pass through with a boss formed in plastic, the 308 has the large hole with no boss. Its a moot point as the mod took 7 seconds to complete and its invisible once installed as its on the back side of the housing looking at the fuel tank. The stud for the cable end was identical as is the handle and the black surround, its essentially the same part.

Thanks everyone! Yes, it is the plastic cup that I need. I'll try the other sources you suggested.

I went direct to their site and ordered it for 100 pounds less. Hopefully, it is in as good shape as this one on ebay. I had tried them before and got the NLA reply. If I get it again, I will have to do the ebay option....it comes out to about $170 more for the ebay version. Thanks for the tip off!
