Also received mine a couple of days ago. Have only had a chance to take a very brief look, but I am very happy and impressed. Seems to be one of the better recent Ferrari books, and a pretty good value too.
Sometimes you can just sense if the book is going to be one of the "must haves" just by the authors and production values, even before you have read a word.
Much like the others, I bought a copy and am very pleased with it. It certainly has all the right provenance. Keith Bluemel needs no introduction as an author for a Ferrari related publication. In addition, Julian Balme's CV as a book designer (see below) is a very strong one indeed. https://www.vegasdesign.co.uk/
Julian Balme's books are excellent .This latest one is a gem.I also have the Racing Through Europe Palawan book which will be treasured until they put me 6 foot under.
My copy just arrived. I managed a brief huff of the beautiful paper but now it must rest until work ends. Can't wait to dive in!
Got my copy today - after just a quick look it seems very nice, and astonishingly good value for money given the crazy book prices we've recently become familiar with.
Waiting for my copy to arrive in the post. I understand they are limited to 1,000 copies but are they individually numbered or just states they are limited to 1.000 copies?
They are not individually numbered. Only stated they are limited to 1,000 copies. I am told there will not be any other editions....
I received my copy Friday and have quickly flipped through it today. In contrast to the Ultimate GTO book discussed in the other thread, the production quality of this book shines through. Even though this book is smaller than the GTO book, the slipcase is thicker and made sturdier. No doubts that I will enjoy this one.
My book arrived in the post yesterday with a nice personal signature from the author. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The postman dropped off about 10 new F books this week so I've got plenty of reading to do, but I'll get around to that one soon. Did you order one buddy?
Mark you may need an intervention Yes I followed the consensus recommendations and ordered a copy from Cotswoldroadandrace. Very nice people to deal with.
Well Bruce you know it's getting bad when you forsake food for books !! Not quite there yet. Yeah Andy is a very good guy, helped me out a lot over the years when he was with Horton's (mention you know me, he will charge you double).
Does someone know how to reach Keith Bluemel or the publisher of this book ? I'd like to feature the book in next Enzo's issue, but can't find any contact...
If you can work out how to message me I have a hot line to them... Edit - I worked it out and have messaged you.
Is there a book store in the U.S. that would have it in stock? I seem to remember a place in or near Detroit. Aerobooks out in California and Amazon don't have it in stock. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Never mind. I finally remembered Pasteiner's but they didn't have it in stock nor did the Motorsport Collector.
