    I have sourced some NOS door handles some of which are still their original plastic wrapping and have never been open. They are on Ebay if you are interested. Make me an offer! I saw a second hand pair at 140 pounds each at Bill McGraths with pitting but these have never been used and are in brilliant condition.
    I spent $550 rechroming mine here in Australia and they are not perfect [ figure includes bonnet release and a few other bits ] so I know in retropect which is the better way to go
