I've noticed nobody seems to be posting since the weather is nice and cold. So what is everyone doing?????

I've been tinkering with my boxster s. Added factory litronics, xm radio, cup holder, 4-point harness's and other tidbits.

Not at all, too busy driving, I drove to HHI and noticed the car was traveling some in the front end, took the car to Andy Green, said I have to replace both front hubs, well, after I am done, I will have three new hubs and bearings, the left rear was done, a used transmission that leak from day one. What's next, the motor?

It's all worth it, except for the leaking transmission.... that is an agrivation and a black mark on someones record

Hell why don't you just replace all the hubs? haha

Actually David how much tread is left on those mich pilot sports? Mine started to follow the road like a mofo right before I replaced them with the PS2's on the CLK. I'd say try new tires before going down that path, it should be cheaper.

I'll be posting lots of photos from the Cavallino Classic over the weekend (on the "Ferrari Discussions" forum). It was great fun; even got to sit in an Enzo!

I'll be putting the 328 in the shop soon for some deferred maintenance. I'll see you guys when the weather gets warmer.....

    Hi David,
I see you did not waste time in checking that shop near Savannah.
So it wasn't the brake disk, but the whole hub.
    What about the shop?

    Bored?

No way!! I've been working 20-hour days getting ready for the launch of www.ricambiamerica.com Yes folks, that's right.... I'm in the Ferrari Parts business, with an estimated launch date of Feb 1.

I've completed the acquisition of Sodacoms, and I'll have a nice formal "grand opening" post in the Main Forum later this weekend.

    :)

The owner--a fellow Long Islander--only let me sit in the passenger seat. Getting in was interesting because of the Lambo-style doors, and the interior was quite snug, probably moreso than my 328. The fellow who was in the car ahead of me was a big man, and he was squeezed in quite tightly.

Naturally there is carbon-fiber everywhere, probably more than I've ever seen anywhere outside of an aircraft plant! The dash was more utilitarian than luxurious, but then this is really a racing car for the street!

The owner was talking about putting in a high-zoot Bose stereo system, but I said, why bother? The best "music" comes from that 6-liter humdinger sitting right behind his head!

This was at Moroso on Friday, in between his stints on the track; he was not bashful about driving his million-dollar car at speed! On track the car sounded better than the Testarossas and street 360s (too much muffling in their cases) but not as good as the 360 Challenge cars.

On Saturday at The Breakers, he fired up the engine and revved it, and it sounded beautiful, with that classic Ferrari 12-cylinder raucous sound! Every sound-recording cell phone was in use at that point!

well damn everyone came out of the woodworks!!! haha

Jim that sound glorious! The trip looks to have been well worth it.

Daniel.....hmm I'm gonna go check out your site, maybe you can hook David up with some parts for his 348, got any hubs???

Phong, I wanna take a ride in the 1000hp beast, but only in a straight line haha that is too much power to even think of turning! Also your single post lift? Why didn't you go with a 2-post?

Andy Greens shop in Savahnna is really awesome. He has had the pleasure to perform major work on anything from 250 GTO's on down. He is apparently considered to be quite the expert, as he has a 275 completly apart, as I had the pleasure to see the engine and gear box in complete teardown. The body was just up the street in another incriedible shop, just created by an individual who built all of the interiors of Gulfstream and many other top of the line small jet aircraft. A very impressive operation. Andy is now in Scotsdale at the auction with a famous classic Ferrari to be sold, reportedly in the 1.5m range.

Both hubs were bad, the front wheel was nearly ready to fall off. It will soon be back on the road.

Luca, thanks for the message regarding Andy Green.

Just had the flooring installed today. The Viper is still up in Md getting the blower put on. I should have it back next week if I'm lucky. The lift is awesome... 3700 pounds of steel. I paid a little extra for this thing but for the piece of mind of standing or parking under, it is priceless. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.
