Hi Fchat, been cleaning out the basement and have come upon some Borrani wire wheels. Would like to figure out what Ferrari's they fit and approximate value as I have no clue about either.

Two of them are stamped 14 x 7L RW 4039. They are in alright shape, have a bit of pitting and rust so would need refinishing.

Four are 14 x 7 1/2 RW 4328. They are in nice shape, great wheels for a driver although not concourse condition by any means.

Any idea what these wheels fit and how much they are worth? I can provide more info if there is something else to look for on the wheels. Thanks!

    Thanks!

Says the RW4039's fit 275 GTB and GTB/4 as well as 330/365's but it doesn't have any info at all on the RW4328's.

    Also, any idea of value?

Borrani actually stopped manufacturing wire wheels for a short period of time and in the process sold all their equipment (1980s I am guessing). They eventually retooled but there is in my opion tremendous value in having wheels that were built before all this. I would check with some wire wheel restorers, they know the Market. Manny Dragone was the US importer last I knew, he is in Bridgeport, CT>

Offered as an option on 308's at one stage but not many taken up. Value depends on condition and demand and I think demand will be low.

That's interesting, IIRC we have ONE member here with a 308GTB with wires as OEM fitment.

    Hi everyone,

I wanted to help clarify a few things in this thread and help provide some information on Borrani. First I wanted to introduce myself. I'm Beth Nelson with Borrani Americas. We are the only authorized importer and restorer of Borrani rims in North and South America and work directly with Ruote Borrani Milano in Italy.

The Borrani factory has never actually closed since they were established in 1922. The organization as a whole has gone through some restructuring over the years but has never stopped producing rims and knock offs. Here is a fun fact...Borrani still uses the original ledger to record their information.

The machinery they use is still from the 1960 and has never been sold. Although they have purchased and updated some of their equipment over the years.

If there is any additional questions I or Jim Wallner would be happy to answer them just send us an email. [email protected] or [email protected]

To learn more about Borrani products you can also visit us on our website at www.borraniamericas.com. If you want to see what's new with our organization check out our social media sites at www.facebook.com/borrani.rims and www.youtube.com/borraniamericas.

    Have a great day.

Thanks for the update Beth, I met you at CI this year and I was delighted to hear that your company also restores Magnesium rims too, not an east task, can you elaborate a bit more on this for others.
