Anyone have the cross reference for this relay? Relay "L" in the wiring diagram that energizes the air pump. My air pump is in-op. Fuse good, wiring looks good. Old relay...need new one.. Thanks....
Looks like a common relay for SAAB fuel pumps ePartsLand - Saab 0332015013 900 9000 Fuel Pump / Multi Purpose Relay Bosch 0 332 0
If you have time, double check and make sure fan spins freely in pump. Pull off discharge hose (think that's the side, or is inlet side), insert small screwdriver and spin fan inside pump. Just did my relay as well, one set of points were pretty burned.
If you carefully pull the old relay apart, you will probably find one set of points pretty burned, which to me indicated the fan having more drag on it at initial spin up. I filed the points flat and clean again and reinstalled relay. That said, I found my fan/pump bearing on the motor pretty sloppy, causing drag, but it fired up. I changed the relay and now changing out air pump. I'm going to try rebuild old fan motor as a spare, looks simple to take apart and machine a new bushing, will see.
This is the famous K relay discussed in another thread (348). Other Bosch numbers for the same relay are 0 332 015 006 and 0 332 015 012. A good source is Volvo and Saab. Otherwise, you can look for a relay that has pins 87 and 87b.
