    I just had confirmation that both F40's will be in the Repco tent (the tattersalls old site). At this stage I'm not sure which one I will take out in the parade laps, it's a lot easier getting the road going F40 running than it is the LM. However we will see. (hope there's a lambo on the parade lap, so that I can give it some grief.) (what was that quote from "TOP GEAR" tv show, "a wasp buzzing all over a rhinocerous")
    Life really is worth living. And what's the biggest buzz of all................Going down that straight, flat out, in a Ferrari, 3 hours before the F1's race. Would I feel the same if I had a ZONDA......?????????

    here's a good question:- "would I feel the same if I was driving a 430". I dont think so, there is still something very special about an F40, even though it's 16 years old. What do you say AIRCON?

    gotta be happy with that Gil. i guess i wont have quite the same feeling in my RENSC going down the straight in Sadelaide, behind a pace car, 3 hours before the Taxis? :D

    Awesome Gil. That would be very exciting driving around there alright. :) Wish i could make it down there. Maybe next year i will and ill buy you a beer or two,maybe 3 then you can drop me down to the local Red Light District for some relations with some girls :rolleyes:

    What about an F 40 for the day and sex for the night. If you can have both, what's wrong with that. In fact give me all of it, the F40 during the day, sex during the night and the LM once in awhile on a weekend, with a bit more sex thrown in as well.

    Hey Gil, I've been meaning to ask...

    How does the LM compare to a 550 GT or 575 GTC?

    I believe the LM is ~ 800hp, and the 550 GT / 575 GTC ~ 630hp..?

    Mid engined versus front.

    The weight is a bigger factor. The LM is 1040 kilos fully fueled. I'm not sure what the weight is of a 550 GT/575 GTC. FF might be able to tell us. The LM full boost is 785 hp with a qualifying mode of 850hp. You wouldn't want to run too long at 850hp, I don't think the motor would last too long at that rate. I think the 550 GT would be something like 1400 Kilos. ????

    I think the 550GT/575GTC are around 1200kg.
