both rear windows on Mondial T not working

Ok, neither switch causes any sound to eminate from the usually very noisy rear window motors...I did check to see if the rear window lock ( how ridiculous is this item...must be federally mandated) was off and fuse was ok...I am planning on replacing the relay onthe fuse panel and the fuse anyway..anyone have any exp.with this one.... also ps my "fog lights don't work either -- doubt it is related..all other electroncis are fine...is there any way to remove the switches without th ewhole console? thanks
