Any of you experts that knows where I can get the rubber mount seal for the side window fixation bar. I cannot see it presented on the Cicognani homepage. The seal is U-formed with outer dimensions of approximately 7 x 9 mm and the window glass is 5 mm thick.

    Thanks in advance...Peter

    Hello Peter,

Cicognani has this very close rubber mount seal for the side window fixation bar with your dimentions. I bought it this weekend in Padua.

    Regards Matthias

PS: They have much much more than shown on the homepage....

    Peter,
I had no luck finding this seal for some time and I sent Cicognani a sample to see if they had it or could make it.
I talked to Michela last week in Padua and they have found it, their code is "FIL 1257", see drawing below. It's not on their web pages.
I think it's a little different than the one Matthias quoted (actually, Matthias kindly bought me a length of this one also.)

I'm ordering a length of FIL 1257 and will update when I've seen how well it fits.

    Thanks Andrew,

Your input is highly apreciated. It looks like a very close match based on the small "Italien" sketch. I will put mý order on standby until further notice.

    Regards

    Peter

After having to remake the channels due to the horrid corrosion, the consensus was to glue them in, thus shedding all possibility of water stagnating there.

Very inexpensive black glass silicone, and it sticks quite solidly.

    Regards, Alberto

Cicognani FIL 1257 is the correct profile and 1m/car is enough, see photo (original on right).
Now I expect they'll be flooded with enquiries... I should warn them to ramp production. :)
