Bought a 2000 360 Rosso Barchetta!

Hello all,

Just bought a 2000 360 Rosso Barchetta/Tan race seats from Ferrari of San Francisco! I know, I know...pictures!!! Well, after sending the money today, they immediately took it out of their website and out of cars.com, so I am left with no pictures at all. I will talk to them tomorrow to email me the pictures thay had posted, and will post them here.

That Rosso Barchetta color is gorgeous! The car has 11.6K miles, looks brand new inside out!!!

They said it has "Fuchs" exhaust??? I hope that's not gonna be too loud!

Glad to find someone who saw the car in person. The pics looked awsome, and this is the second car I buy from them without seeing it. My first Ferrari was a 348 and I bought it from them in 2006 and they delivered the car exactly how they claimed it was. This one in the pics looked brand new, especially the inside. I'm not too fond of the challenge grille but on Barchetta it kinda looks fine. Everything is factory since the person who ordered the vehicle in 2000 wanted the race seats, challenge grille, and side shields (I wished he ordered colored calipers, but he didn't). They did all the service on the car since new.

So you saw it in person, was it recently that you did? The car has only been up for sale on their website and cars.com very recently. I check every day for new listings.

I hope what you saw in person looked as good as what I saw in pictures.

May I ask about the race seat? Same as the CS?..

I haven't seen the CS seats, so not sure but they do look great, not sure of the comfort though.

Dean, I saw the car couple weeks ago when I stopped by to see the CS they had for sale, and yes it really did look super clean.

 

No, seems like they removed the ad there aswell now. It had around 25 pics of your car on the Yahoo ad.

 

No, the car is F1. Never even driven an F1, so that will be interesting!

 

You are right, they are the CS seats. Factory installed Tan leather CS seats.

Congrats! The 360 sounds wonderful wearing Rosso Barchetta. Sounds like it has some interesting options to like the CS seats. A friend ordered his 550 in that color and liked it so much he got a 599 years later in the same color. Great find on a 360. Can't remember the model year but there was a Rosso Barchetta 360 coupe in Beverly Hills for sale a few years ago. It is a scarce color.
