A rhd in a lhd country? That can not have cost you much. Is it a keeper? Or an investment?

And as you know, if you need help, just give me a call!

    Thanks mate.

It's indeed a RHD in a LHD-country.... Just wanted to save another one from being parted out....

For so far I can see it had a re-spray in 2001, checking it's history. The respray must have been thoroughly done. I cannot find any signs of what the previous color might have been. I will give it another good look, but it might be possible.

    Jan,

I'm quite surprised. Have you watched the 365 GT4 2+2 videos I've posted last week ?
Here is the link : http://www.youtube.com/user/carl308888#p/u/5/XZe0sDb0Wn8

Your RHD car and the RHD car in the videos are both RED with BEIGE LEATHER, and have this particular Black Momo Steering Wheel I consider quite rare because in all the hundreds 365/400/412 I have with pictures, there maybe 4 or 5 with it, those two cars included...

Yours could it be the same as the one in the videos ? Situated in Australia, running in the left of the road...
If not that's for me a real "coincidence". Maybe a special ask for UK Market...?
Two of the other cars I've got with this black Momo are 400i 5-speed 1st Serie, included the one my father owned #38517.

Mystery...was it original, was it a later modification...

I was thinking this wasn't original on my father car, but now the question is really open...

    Riiight.......Ahem!......
Those videos of 17819 were supposed to have been deleted due to the amount of negative feedback on Aussie Fchat.
An interesting time was had by all in country NSW,an amalgam of different cars went, mine being the oldest and the only front engine.

It is not Jans' new addition to the fleet, unless someone has been into my shed whilst my back was turned.

The Momo IS an addition, the car came with(and still has)the original timber wheel BUT for me in the twisty bits, the wheel gets slippery(even with gloves on)so this one came up on Ebay..............................out of a Mazda(with the Cavallino???????)for $100.

Hope you enjoyed the video's as much as Carl enjoyed making them.I still don't understand how you could have found them. The perceived problem being that some of the other cars may be identified by their rego numbers and me(big ugly mug)by most of the highway patrol in this country!!
    cheers,
    Simon.

Thank you all, I will post some more pictures of the car in a while.

If someone has a spare steering wheel, let me know. It didn't came with the car but I would like to install an original steering wheel in the future.

    It's indeed not Simon's car :)

Well, I hope those who managed to see them enjoyed the footage. Sadly, I closed my account for obvious reasons after the link was posted, but it was a fun time indeed. Thanks Mr. Driver :)

    Regards,

    Carl.

Paul, you are right. In have checked the car and on the inside of the headlights I see traces of it's original colour.

According Ferrari.com the original colour is Nero Dark Ronlad.
