Thanks to all for the help and input on my search for a 328. I had the Euro (you may or may not remember me posting about) PPI'd last wkend by a revered F wrench in my area and he was very happy with the car. This was the 1st car I looked at, but not the only, and after about 2 mos of looking I paid $40.5K after negotiating down a few thousand. For a 46K mi car it's in great shape inside and out with a few very minor nicks and the hood strut crease :/ Anyway, here are some pics. Enjoy...I know I will :)

    Nice!

I too bought the first but not only car I looked at. Strange, isn't it?

Very nice, congrats! I'm biased, but the 328 is best of the modern-ish Ferraris. ;)

Looks like your speedo was replaced at some point, but that sounds like honest mileage and the price was very good.

Also, a matter of taste, but I would remove the shields. They look a tad low, and the car doesn't need them, IMO.

Congrats on the Euro! Wish we could get them here in CA. You did a great job on your due dilligence...obviously. BTW, when was the last major done? I only ask because your at 40K plus mileage.

    My best,

    Scott

Congrats! The car looks great and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I agree with Jon, I'd also get rid of the "shields," but the car looks really nice.
    Best regards,

Bull, what makes you say that? It's in KM still and reads about 76K btw.

The pedals' wear appears consistent with the milage and the wrench concurred that overall wear is consistent w.milage.

Scott, no recent major but I know it needs to happen soon. Belts were done and list of other minor things in 05. The PPI revealed a weepy lower pulley seal that my wrench wasn't too concerned about but did note would need a major to deal with (since he'd have to pull the bearings, etc) in the not-too-distant future. I will put a few miles on it and turn it over to him for that.

Color match of the numerals (orange fades over time). It could just be the photo.

My clock was replaced, and the numerals are slightly redder than the other gauges.

I wouldn't sweat it -- the lower mileage cars are much more likely to be faked. Looks like you got a nice one. Enjoy.

Molto bene! Enjoy it. It should be a great car for the Taconic Parkway and similar roads north of you.
