Yay for Sebastian! He's done all there is to do and more. F3000 champion, got screwed by Arrows when they went under and then won the title 3 times in Champ car and is moving towards his fourth. Two testing dates scheduled this year, one only next week. Looks like a strong indication he'll be replacing someone (most likely Speed) at STR.

That has got to be it because Speed is just taking up precious space.

I don't follow the Champ car scene but it would be nice to see Bourdais in Speed's seat later this season if the Champ car season ends prior to the last F1 race.

I don't follow it much either but my girlfriend has a condo overlooking the street course in Long Beach so I watched that. It's rather pointless really. There is no competition for Bourdais in Champ car and the celebrations of victory is depressing.

Speed has looked better than Liuzzi lately. Wouldn't be surprised if Sea-bass replaces Viantonio.

+1. Everyone thinks Speed will be gone, but he has been looking A LOT better than Liuzzi lately. It would be cool to be Bourdais and Speed racing together next year.

I don't think either STR driver will be there next year. There's too much good talent out there to take their place. Speed was lucky to have been retained for this season. Perhaps Ferrari can trade Kimi for Bourdais.
