Those are bullet holes, and no wonder they lived through it. No blood. There was no one in the car when it got shot up, or they ducked.
is it from this Video? http://www.break.com/index/texasshootout.html EDIT-- Not that Video. Car in that Video had a push bar and that was from 2004. Sorry...interesting video none the less.
Me thinks a 50-75 yard grouping from a fully automatic firearm burst. If they were military trained, the grouping would be much tighter.
Kinda what I was thinking. About 30 holes. No time to reload a pistol so a full mag from an Ingram or similar.
IMHO, I would say a high velocity rifle round. 5.56 or 7.62. The bullet holes in the windshield are nice tight punctures. Slower, bigger pistol caliber rounds (9mm,.40,.45,etc) tend to make a big indentation in the glass before punching through. Same with the shots into the hood, nice clean hits. Whatever it was, they SURE don't like cops! Dave
3 guys in a red suburban with ak-47s shot at this cop who was following a similar looking suspect in another red suburban when it pulled off the freeway. The cop went straight as the first suburban left the freeway, and the real bank robbers opened fire thinking he was after them. Those wooden rods show the trajectory of the bullets. Look at the ones through the instrument cluster. He would have died if he didn't duck. The suspects, who are illegals from mexico, are still at large, and later jacked 7 additional cars. I have the video but can't upload it.

"Texas police officer Richard Kunz, who successfully defended himself against a motorist who was in the process of hosing down the officer's patrol vehicle with more than 30 rounds of 7.62 X 39mm ammunition. The assailant, Michael Patrick Kennedy, 48, of Longhorn Trail in Bulverde, was charged with attempted capital murder..."
------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kennedy is in the Bexar County Jail, where he is being held on a charge of attempted capital murder with bail set at $500,000. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ****! 30 rounds of bullets aimed at an officer and he still can post bail? Glad I'm not a cop in the USA
