There is a used one for sale locally for a nice price. All I find on the internet is bad reviews and that they break down. Should I buy it or will it be a boat anchor. I am good at repairing things. If it does break I may be able to keep fixing it. Any advice? It is for my girlfriend. She weighs about 115. That may help that she does not weigh that much. Maybe it will be less prone to breaking down if the user does not weigh much. I like the design/idea and people that use it seem to like it as long as it keeps working.

    Thanks for any responses.

Set fire to a few hundred dollar bills. After they have burnt to a crisp, pat yourself on the back for at least saving some floor space.

Pay for a gym membership for her. After three months of her not going, when you cancel, pat yourself on the back for having wasted a lot less money.

I love the treadclimber but they do break often, save some money and get a membership to a gym so someone else can worry about the maintenance.

Yeah, spend the $$$ on a gym quality treadmill or burn it in a bucket.

FWIW, I have a Star Trac and it has worked great for a long time.
