I remember MELS had one for sale? in CA, he wanted an arm and a leg for it...there are some available once in a while but need to be restored/refinished - either way there's no way to end up ahead ;-)

    Hello everyone!
Im new to the forum, just an old racer with titanium bits in my spine.
Im on my second Boxer, and I think factory sprout green would look fetching on this most important car.
Best of luck with the resto!
    John

Cool color, but the Rosso Dino (AJ Foyt Orange) going on this project is very rare, also.....

Top notch as always. So are you really mounting the M motor in there?

No we used the prototype BB to test fit the M engine in a carb'd boxer, the only one at the time that was engineless at my place. I made some important discoveries that helped the install in the black bad azzz boxer.

Every time I call, I get a voice mail..leave a message, nobody calls back. However, if you enquire about a 4k windshield they call back right away..i try not to deal with them, the customer service and the attitude over the phone is awful.

Gearbox was a challenge with shim selections that were outside of Ferrari's normal range but I was able to get pinion depth, pattern and backlash correct. Installed one of my new billet differential carriers and grade 9 hardware. I had some original crown gear bolts tested a number of years ago and they barely met grade 5 specs. Left side support is an upgraded testarossa version where the perimeter o-ring is moved inboard away from the stress riser that it originally created in the cheek of the support flange. Correct FA nuts with squared edges and slightly thicker. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Upper muffler can had something rattling around inside it so I had to make a few windows in it to find out what was going on. The loose metal is redundant. I can see where it came from and don't understand why its even there but also see no reason to worry about it. Its like I removed the muffler's appendix.

Exhaust was painted silver, should be a grey / green and polished tips. The injected cars were left natural which discoloured over time from heat cycles. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
