That was the car we picked apart with the list of "wrong" things like the missing a/c fan and so on. The seller or representitve even chimed in on the thread a while back. It was on ebay at the time but guess it didnt sell. Looks clean but the DOT stuff bothers me.

And (I think) no BAR sticker, so registering in the Republic of California would be a problem.

As an aside, all Boxers seem to sit "high".
Is the Carobu Engineering conversion to threaded body the only solution?
    Is there a Ground Control
    (http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/description.php/II=14/CA=94)
adjustable height coilover conversion adapter for Koni's available?

I guess everyone is different and its just personal preference but the DOT stuff being an add-on not for the better just takes away from it. We all know what the DOT stuff is for and know it makes the car heavier and doesnt help the looks so to me its worth less than the original "Version" that rolled out of the factory. The crash bar installation in the doors on the cars Ive seen is a hack job, maybe some are nicer than others, the side lights when put in the fiberglass bumpers can at least be eliminated with minimal paint and repair but once on the rear lid......thats a pain and an eye-sore. I just think its a shame, kind of what lambo did to the LP500 with the goofy bumpers that insulted the car's looks and was degrading in a way. Mine has never been converted and thats what I like most about it.

I agree they sit high but the other day I crossed a set of train tracks that had a deep dip on the other side as I got over them (going too fast), noticed the scrape marks on the ground from countless hits over time but it was too late. I sucked my balls up as I approached but it didnt hit! If I had lowered the car and got the awesome look that went with it, I would be ordering a new front bumper right now. So that has made me decide to leave it as ferrari built it.

Because the side marker lights are UGLY? ...but, at least that one doesn't have the picnic table bumpers!
