Boxer MSD Arrived

Plan on sorting thru the wiring this weekend. Has anyone recently captured the mapping of the MSD 6A "Hvy Red, Hvy Blk, Org, Blk, Red, White, and Tach Output" to the original connectors 1 thru 6 after the Dinoplex is pulled? I'd like to use the original wiring and female socket, and it sounds like most of you have, after the Dinoplex is pulled. Seems straight forward using the wiring diagram and ignition system diagrams in the owner and workshop manuals. Just don't want to screw this up.

 

Thanx to a diagram sent to me by Charlie K, it looks like the MSD to original harness connections are as follows:

MSD Heavy Red to starter cable (from battery)
MSD Heavy Black to frame (ground)
MSD Violet (from Mag PU positive) to dinoplex #1 green (Distributor trigger)
MSD Green (from Mag PU negative) to dinoplex #2 black (Distributor ground)
MSD Black to dinoplex #3 red (coil negative)
MSD Orange to new dinoplex #4 yellow (this is the yellow going to the coil positive that has to be seperated from the other yellow going to the ignition switch and positive battery- both were originally together as dinoplex #6)
MSD Tach Out to dinoplex #5 brown (tach connection)
MSD Red to dinoplex #6 yellow (remaining yellow in dinoplex #6 going to the ignition switch and positive battery)
SOUND ABOUT RIGHT?

Will connect all this to MSD Blaster 2 and new bbi dist cap and rotor received today from McCann. And just to have completely new ignition system, will get MSD, Magnecor, or Kingsborne wires, and BP7ES plugs.

Had aluminum plate the size of the dinoplex made to mount MSD box.

Does anyone know where to get new 6 wire female and male connectors for the new igintion harness conection to MSD box?
