    Hello,

Have a silver 308 that I am contemplating adding the boxer trim scheme on it. My question is, what is the correct lower Black paint type. Gloss, Satin, Matte??

Base coat of 20-B-50 matte black, over which they sprayed a coat of 20-T-380 satin varnish.

The specific code on any factory papers for a "boxer paint scheme" was:
20-B-50 (indicating matt black paint) + 20-T-380 (indicating satin finish) + the code for the other body color.
It means that it has a very slight sheen, "somewhere between matt and satin". Dear Alan ("Big tex") who kows this scheme well, had a friend who said to him "just enough gloss to see the reflection of the highway stripes".
