Has anyone located an original looking foam to replace the rotting foam that is glued under the front and rear deck lids. The original has a slight dimple pattern and I assume was dark grey. This foam must be falling off every Boxer by now.

I see the front pad listed but not the rear for a BBi.

Thanks to you guys that responded so fast regarding foam pad. To clarify the front has a black vinyl with pattern and mine is in good shape. The foam I need is applied to the underside of the rear engine lid and that is what I am looking for. Sorry for the mistake as I previously described foam on front and rear lids. I will check with ferrari Owners site.

    Chris,
If you are looking for the dark gray "dimpled" foam insulation installed in the two air boxes of rear deck lid, they are N/A. I looked everywhere for a set and came up with zero, including the Owners site. They indicated the last pair they had sold im 1987! I have made a pair of prototypes for my BBI with the intent of producing reproductions in the future. That is if I can lower my costs.
    Stay tuned....

    Dave

Per Ferrari's marketing of the new Classiche program, they will make or source any parts needed for Ferrari's 20 years or order. I would e-mail them and tell them what you need.
