I was looking at a Boxer with a Koenig rear end and I can't make up my mind as to weather or not I like it. I generally am not one much for body kits, though I guess this is somewhat factory? Thoughts?

Its not close to factory with a body kit on it. If original looking is what you might want in the end then steer clear or count on spending mega dollars to make it right. A pic for all to see would go a long way.

When you post a reply scroll down the screen where you would write your post you will see the "manage attachments" button. A new window will open that will allow you to browse your files on your computer, select a file then click download. Once that happens close the window and click post reply. Its easy and I want to see this boxer!

This looks like the CA car owned by a women. We were looking at that car and a Dino the owner had awhile back. They were inspected by an expect and we were told to pass as they needed complete restoration. I just put over 20K in a nice 512BB so be careful. The Koenig rear also kills the resale value if your selling to a purist.

Yeah, it's the same car. I don't think I like the rear end and everybody says the car needs over $100k worth of total restoration. I like projects, but I midas well find the nicest and latest model boxer for $150,000 and be ahead of the game.

I posted that car in a thread here last week called body kit on a boxer (or something like that). I would steer clear as well, I also know what they were asking for it - dont do it! Follow your instinct and get the best one you can afford so you can start enjoying it right away.

You know if you could get that car cheap it would be a blast, I kind of like it in a way but it screams 80s and looks dated just as the Countach does today, funny how a design that looks so modern and on the edge at a period can look soo dated years later, the DP slope nose Porsches with the TR vents also come to mind, the original Boxer design has aged well since it has no gimmicks or wings in its look
