'83 bbi.....car has and does run great....fresh from a major.....when I first start it from cold the idle seems high (around 1900 rpm), it then settles down as the car warms up, and finally begins to settle all the way down (as in stalls) as soon as i come to a stop and the clutch is dis-engaged....so, essentially, it runs great but won't idle when warm. Cranks fine and re-starts, i just have to keep on the gas....all electrics working......i'm in the middle of nowhere.....ok to drive? Hope someone is awake. thx

It sounds like you might have a vacuum leak someplace. This often causes this issue with the injected cars. It's OK to drive, but annoying! Go through and look for a vacuum line that is split, or disconnected. It's never a bad idea on cars of this age to replace all the vacuum and fuel lines.
