Bradan 308 GT4 bare metal paint job.

Love these threads Bradan. Very informative, sometimes 'matter of fact' but preferred to salesy. Still a GREAT promotion for your company's apparently near inexhaustible level of skill.

Very interesting!!! Really enjoying watching the process you are going through to do a "bare metal" respray on this car. Can't wait to see it as you start the painting process. Of course, as we all know, the success of the painting is dependent on the prep work, and you are doing a great job so far!! Please keep the pictures coming!

This example looks to be in really nice shape...
What are the holes at the back of each rear triangle-shaped window for?

 

There is a peg that comes out of the rear-most point of the window that goes into that hole.
I only know this as I had this to deal with upon delivery of my car:

Yeah I really like the GT4 in Serra Blue- one of my faves...But this car is so clean and so original it just felt wrong to change the color- Having the two cars side by side- duelling Giallo- is pretty cool...If you think I'll only have one 308GT4 in the garage you're nuts- these are way too much fun and in my opinion criminally undervalued right now.

Not sure I understand the "Short listed' question....

 

They look good together...Will look even better without the Boxer scheme-

fyi, Blue Monte Carlo is a beautiful, 'powdery' blue that works with black interior also, as it offers enough of a contrast...
i almost painted mine Monte Carlo before i went with Argento over the black hides.

imho, you need to add a carbed 12 to the stable before you need another GT4...no ?

Yeah brett I'm with ya-

Driven a couple of C/4s- great sound but I honestly think my 400i drives better- Got the chance to see a couple of BBs and that might be something I'd get into at some point- They look so much like 308s in photos but are so lean and aggressive in the flesh- and they fit me fine- Tall guys can have problems with certain ferraris...
