Bradan 308 service

So... much .... rust ....

 

Is that the original finish for the alternator? The one on our car was inrecognizable as, anything... I took it to get rebuilt and it came back black (same with the starter). Just wondering... Were the Euros different than the US?

Looks similar to my (Euro) alternator, except my inner band is a bit orange, not gold.

Original Bosch band is red oxide colour and pulley/fan are galvanised steel.

 

Looks like the suspension could use some new bushings, probably original. Man that car is dirty underneath.

 

nasty lock nut on that tie rod which doesn't look oem
