Amazing work as always but wouldn't it have been more cost effective to just buy a mint 348? Unless of course there's sentimental value in the car. I look forward to giving my 355 this treatment one day!
You say this, but what is happening is the transition from used car to classic. This car is on the forefront of that. I have a feeling you'll see more and more of it in the coming years. it's that magical 25-30 year mark. There will be a reinvestment in restoration parts, and replica parts occuring. Lots of forgotten cars will come out of the woodwork, barn find stories will begin, as "in over their head" owners will give up. This owner will end up with a perfect car, and basically will be considered zero mileage when finished. sjd who secretly wishes we could tag it like an elk to watch it's migration after completion.

I haven't seen an update from Bradan in a while... although on their sub-forum (in the New York forum), they recently announced an expansion to include Bavarian cars - so perhaps they are overwhelmingly busy. I love their threads (especially the F40) - I surely hope they do not disappear!
