Always had trouble with rust bubbles on the top of the hood seams and shock towers. These cars do love to rust. Those rocker covers were impossible to get a few years ago. I think they make reproductions now. Nice car, but kind of heavy. Traded it in on a Alfa 1750 GTV wich I like because it is a lot more nimble around corners. Both cars have gone thru the roof in collector value, but judging by the value of regular 911's and even 912's the collector car market is insane right now. I put Webers on my silver with blue leather 3.0CS and had injection on my white with blue cloth 3.0 CSI.
Totally agree. I had one 10 years ago I bought for $400 and ended up scraping because it was to expensive to fix. It had rust in the areas mentioned.
