This is our new Y-pipe exhaust upgrade for 2.7 F355s. Our first batch will be ready in a few days and we are taking pre-orders now.

    First 10 sets $1,295
    Msrp $1,595

    Call 631-585-8600 to order.

This modification eliminates the upper catalytic converter system and is intended for off-road use only.

F355 dyno test with Tubi headers, test pipes, and muffler.

This is going to sound harsh, but you need a better camera or a better welder to charge 1300 bucks for a y pipe. That merge needs to look more like this:

What's happening at just shy of 4000rpm when the hp/torque curves show a blip?

Is that the opening of the bypass valve, or is it a changeover in the fuel mapping from "closed loop" to "open loop"?

    Just curious, thanks.

I would love a Y pipe, dont realy care if the welds are not Audi standards either as long as its priced right.
But there is no chance ever that i could justyfy $1300 for somthing as simple looking as they seem.1300 is the cost of two complete exhaust systems for any other normal road car.
Now i recon some one who makes one for less than $500, will have them flying of the shelf.

Likely the exhaust bypass valve. It opens right around there...depending on gear according to the WSM. (workshop manual)

Those aren't my welds, just pics I found on the webs. I can weld like that though.

SS is pretty easy to weld and keep a nice clean bead, aluminum pisses me off sometimes though.
