What's happening at just shy of 4000rpm when the hp/torque curves show a blip? Is that the opening of the bypass valve, or is it a changeover in the fuel mapping from "closed loop" to "open loop"? Just curious, thanks. John
I would love a Y pipe, dont realy care if the welds are not Audi standards either as long as its priced right. But there is no chance ever that i could justyfy $1300 for somthing as simple looking as they seem.1300 is the cost of two complete exhaust systems for any other normal road car. Now i recon some one who makes one for less than $500, will have them flying of the shelf.
Likely the exhaust bypass valve. It opens right around there...depending on gear according to the WSM. (workshop manual)
