We need to fully remove the interior. The motor had to go in so we could take the chassis off the lift and sort through it.
A stereo installation gone wrong. The damage to the chassis harness is to extensive to repair. This project will be on hold until a new harness arrives from Italy.
WOW. Let this be a lesson to those "I want to put a sub in my Ferrari" threads. This is going to be a pricey stereo.
Holy crap. Not driven in two years and never had the belts changed in 14k miles and 16 years? What a waste.
The harness is $1,100, not as bad as we thought. It was driven with burnt out wiring for a very long time. We discovered the ABS, front suspension, and heating was not working due to the damage.
That's what I was thinking. And as I can't imagine there were too many BRG F355s, if this car grew up on Long Island, there's a good chance I'm responsible for about 5 - 10 miles on the ODO (my "first kiss" from an F-car)!
