Bradan F355 major service

I'm not sure what the estimated drivetrain HP loss should be on 355's, but assuming 15% like a "regular" car it appears this 355 makes only 358 horsepower (304.6/(1-0.15)). Is this cause for concern?

Question; how do you get those stripes in the carpets ?

When the carpet is wet (like in after a shampoo) you run a credit card back and forth in different spacings. You can also use a stiff brush.

 

"Normal" cars have a transmission where one gear has a 1:1 ratio and transmits power without using gears (the input shaft couples directly to the output shaft with a dog. Cars such as these only have 1 gear in the driveline (the differential gear).

The F355 has a minimum of 4 gears anytime power is being transmitted. Thus the loss is closer to 19%--but there is actually no way of knowing unless and until someone dynoes an engine on an engine dyno, and then dynoes the car on a rolling wheel dyno to compare.
