Nice work indeed. We too remove and disassemble the rear deck lid on the 355's as well, and it takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to do it correctly.

    Looks great.

I'm wondering if there's enough lighting in that work area? Seems like the flourescents could be doubled up at least? Maybe it's just me.

I think this process for someone who has a driver 355 would be worth it. No repaint but looks close.

Stage 18: Body cleaned and waxed

The body was stripped of all tape and the moldings were cleaned. All dust was blown away and the room was mopped clean. A clean, sterile surface and work area is imperative in the final phase.

Autoglym HD wax was applied by hand with an applicator that was pre soaked in water. To soften the wax, it was heated with a bosch heat gun. The wax will now cure on the paint for 20 minutes before being removed. This last phase seals and protects the paint from contamination.

Amazing work. I cannot wait to see what you do to the interior.

One question remains... Why didn't you remove the stick on shields?

Very cool! The amount of work seems quite intensive...do you have a $$$ tally yet, or is this a labor of love? :)

Just finished, 71 clock hours. A f355 in average condition would take about 50 hours.

    Nice work there Daniel!!

But really... 6 months in and "We are the world's premier Ferrari tuning house"??...

I think some of the pros on this board might take exception to that...
