Does anybody know if they make a braided stainless line kit for the front/rear calipers?? And WTF is up with those stupid washers the factory put on between the calipers and the knucle??????? What a PIA! I put my new Girodisc front rotors on today and had the pleasure of dealing with that mickey-mouse set-up. Thanks in advance, Scott

Those washers are spacers to centralize the caliper to the disc rotor. :):)
Can be a pain putting it all together sometimes. :p:p

I dont think anyone makes a braided hose kit, but it wouldnt be hard to remove the hoses and take them into a hose doctor/shop and get some made. VERY easy to get them made that way. :):)

How about EVERYTIME that job will be a PIA!! ;o) I understand what the washers/spacers do,but would have made MUCH more sense if the Italians had measured right BEFORE casting the knuckles!!!!

Candellara, thanks for the info I will check them out.

Anyone else have a US source? Thanks, Scott

Does the kit you ordered and fit go from the frame of the car to the knucke, or from the knuckle to the caliper? Or, does it replace the whole line/s from the frame straight to the calipers? (on the front of course) The factory set-up would reequire one to remove a hard-line prior to caliper removal and subsequent brake bleed. I am looking to eliminate those two steps, Scott

Don't call me to help you change your rotors until you get those hoses changed to braided stainless! (unless you have a full case of cold beer and a comfortable chair so I can watch and drink while you struggle and cuss changing them!!!!) ;o) Scott

Yes, Goodridge makes DOT/TUV approved ss lines for 348s. There are many online sources...if you are not in a hurry, a got mine from Demon Tweeks in the UK. Decent price, and if you are not in a hurry, they put them on sale one or twice a year for 20 to 25% off. I did a "group buy" with four buddy's that also own 355's and we split the shipping...came to around $115 per set delivered!!

    Resch's refreshes.

Old man's beer but I like it in middies on a real scorcher.

My mate in Sydney works for Lion Nathan though so I have to drink that and the Crown Lagers when he's not looking.

Got your PM Pap, give us a call when you're here.

    Cheers
    Kev
