In the early 1990's, Alex Ferguson was the coach of Manchester United, the most successful pro soccer team in England at that time. Prior, he was a manager in Scotland. He would be a very successful manager of a soccer team anywhere in the world, except for Singapore...Why is that?

    (OK sports buffs, start thinking!)

peters, I can easily see how these riddles could become spam very quickly. Why not keep it in one post, or ask for a "Brainteasers" forum to be created? I have seen this done on other forums on the web, and it may be a nice addition, as well as cleaning up OT some.
