Has anyone ever rebuilt or had their brake booster rebuilt. I did not on the last car I restored and it works fine after 35 plus years. Any photos of one taken apart. What can fail on them. Who rebuilds them? I see you can send away to UK to Superformance and they do it, but anyone in good olde USA.

I think I had Booster Dewey do mine many years back. I had them replate the shell. The booster is a Bendix design hence Benditalia. The link is: http://boosterdeweyexchange.com/
I see White Post Restorations do boosters as well.

Booster Dewey did mine, and it came out perfect. He went the extra mile as mine was particularly bad, but then that was normal.
Send it to them, highly recommended.
    Regards, Alberto
PS it seems everyone is giving negatives to WPR, I'd stay away...

Power brake exchange or Karp's brake service, booth up in the LA area. They usually have one in stock ready to go so it is just an exchange with your core. The tool required to press and twist the two have apart is not worth the cost to just have them rebuilt by someone who already has the tool. Also I think they freeze them in Nitrogen to make it easier to twist the rubber. There is not much inside, the diaphragm is just a one piece unit and I believe they are still available so it is a pretty straight forward deal. Just make sure to hang onto you push rod or you might not get the right one back with the rebuilt booster.

    Your welcome Jon,

Project is coming along but a little scary, car is still in a million pieces but will start going back together over the summer. Nice thing about the Dinos is the availability of all the service parts but the 206 has some little quirkey items that make things a real challenge.
