I am running into a small problem mounting my Stoptech kit on my 95 F355. Everything fits perfectly exept that the rotor is not centered in the caliper so there is about 2mm more pad space on the outboard side than the inboard. All parts were checked and they are correct. I notice Ferrari makes caliper spacers listed in their parts catalog. Are there alot of variances between cars that spacers are sometimes needed to center the rotor? If did use a spacer, the rotor would be centered. By the way, Stoptech has been fantastic with their customer service in trying to get to the source of the problem.

Brake calipers should be centered and parrallel with the rotor to within 0.003".

If shims are needed, due to the precision required, you may have to by shimstock and make the shims yourself. Your typical washers might be available in 1.0mm and 0.5mm (0.040 and 0.020).
