Greetings; Am looking to upgrade the calipers on my 1991 Testarossa. Already have the drilled rotors from a 512TR. What is the largest "boltup" caliper I can utilize. I heard the 430 calipers will work? (correct?). Also are the front calipers interchangeable with the rears?. Thanks for your input and response.....Mark.

I doubt the 430 calipers would bolt on direct to the Testarossa.

I also wonder if they would fit in the 16" wheels.

    Looks great Ski !

Do you have pictures of the whole change ?

I am pretty sure a lot of TR readers would like to go for these big brakes if they see how to do it...

Do they make upgraded calipers for those using stock 16" wheels?

If not, put 360 wheels on. Nothing looks cooler on a TR than 360 wheels IMHO.

Honestly, its a very simple swap...all you have to do is unbolt and bolt the new brackets in and the hubs. Extremely simple! I think bleeding the brake lines was harder then anything hahahah

By the way, I switched to the non corrosive DOT 5 brake fluid and I would recommend that to everyone. DOT 5 does not kill paint, its 100% silicone based fluid which exceeds DOT 3 and 4.

Do NOT use it on brake systems that have ABS. Dont ask why, thats what the warning says.

Any Brembo retailer can get the TR kit(s). Tire Rack for example. Do a search for TR brakes and you will find them.

the 512tr i just bought has a brembo upgrade kid. I have been told by the shop who installed them that the stock 512tr wheels will fit with spacers. I have a set of 19s that u can see on the car im going to sell. Look at the thread "on the way" if u are interested.

Tom, you will need those 18" single nut wheels that I sent you the link for.

No point you having big brakes anyway..............you never drive it!
