    hey all:

I realized my "BRAKE" Failure lights on my 360 is on while driving the car, it was blinking and now turns solid.

I referred to owner's manual by checking the brake fluid level to be normal and there's no excessive wear of the front brake pads.

Anyone has any idea of what's cause the "BRAKE" lights?

    TIA for your wisdom.

    Jimmy

I had the same issue and the pads looked like still had some beef left(I had tracked the car a few times with not really red hot laps) had the pads changed and that took care of it.

May be the sensor is too close or faulty, pull out the tires to take a visual on it.

    Cheers

thanks, i just came back from a short drive, the lights appears to be on when I apply on brakes and sometime it comes out occasionally.

Any idea in telling the sensors are too close?

    Thank you once again.

    Jimmy,

You'll have to get your hands dirty to work this one out ...

So if you want to have a look you need to remove your wheels and check brake pad thickness. The sensors are in the pads and designed so they earth against the brake disc when the pads get thin ... but as mentioned maybe they are not positioned correctly.

Personally I'd remove the sensors and place in the rubbish bin. If you (not you specifically) are that out of tune with your car that you need a sensor to tell you that the brakes need replacing ... well you should not own and run a car.

I know with many lesser cars that is what mechanics do, as the sensors give trouble (as you are seeing).

Have no idea what happens to a Ferrari if the sensors are removed though ...
    Pete
