Hello I went for a drive today and on the way back (while going uphill) I noticed my brake warning failure warning light flickered for a moment, when I got home I checked the brake fluid and it is halfway between min and max (my clutch master cylinder has been recently replaced and the brake fluid was replaced too)
I checked ferrari parts diagrams I don’t think there’s brake pad sensors in our cars, so my only guess is it going uphill made the reservoir sensor thought it was a bit low and I just need to top it off to the max, or is there any other situations where the brake warning light would flicker and then go away?? Thank you very much

No, the light switch is linked to the float on the top of the fluid reservoir. I would check for leaks on the brakes and clutch system and, if none are found, just top it up.

Thanks for your response, yes it was just a quick flickering while going uphill so that made me believe the angle driving uphill along with the brake fluid not at max level gave a false low level warning, but I wanted to rule out brake sensors or other possibilities that could trigger the light.
I will just top it up, thanks again

I think the same but still wonder because the level was halfway between min. and max. and so normaly it would be ok and may not give contact

uphill and sharp curve and very fast? then could be even half between min. and max.

accelerating uphill and bumpy, that’s why my first guess was a pad sensor but these cars don’t have pad sensors. Thanks
