Help is appreciated in finding a hard-to-find part.

I am replacing all of my hard brake lines on a 246 1972 Dino. On the driver side rear is the front-rear brake pressure regulator. All of the hard lines require an ISO bubble flare, with a 10 mm 1.00 mm threaded fitting. HOWEVER, the pressure regulator requires 1.25 mm threaded conectors (two of these). I can't find them anywhere.

Has anyone a source? Ferrari U.K., are you listening?

    Thanks for your help.

I don't want to appear dense or rude, but can't NAPA or Earl's (via Summit) help? We've replaced many brake lines on my 308 (which are metric bubble flare) and the parts haven't been hard to find. Is the F/R proportioning valve the same as a 308 (which is located near the rack)? I know the lines into that piece are easy to find (BTDT). FYI, on a 308 the junction on the frame near the left rear wheel is just a 3-way connector. We found no issue in getting lines to go into this piece - done it 2x (don't ask why). No proportioning.

Perhaps the 246 is very different.

Philip - your reply is very helpful. Certainly not dense or rude.

The Rear/Front proportion valve on the Dino was manufactured by a subsidary of Bendix, I believe, while the calibers and 3-way junctions are manufactured by ATE. I have looked everywhere for 1.25 mm thread on the 10 mm threaded flare fittings. Can't find them. Everyone has 1.0 mm thread. Even pre-flared short steel lines with metric fittings do not work. I am more than willing to purchase the line and cut off the fitting on one side, but I cannot find this thread.

I can find an adapter with female flare on one end.

The proportion valve is strapped to a frame member immediately inboard of the driver rear suspension. It has two lines - one entering and one exiting.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

I was able to find those fittings at a company called fedhill. They have a website you can order through. www.fedhillusa.com

it is called an M4 fitting.

Stacy - Perfect! This is a great web site. M4 is exactly what I need. I sent them a message and will telephone tomorrow.

Thank you. This chat board is a great resource.
