I’m sure it was a complete accident. You never know what will accidentally pop off on these cars as they get older. Fortunately, you can still get the buttons new.

ahh, I’ve never noticed that button before. But glad to hear it’s still available. Hopefully the dealer makes it right and replaces.

Just called about this, their Service Advisor I spoke with said for my 2007 F430 it's a 30 minute job. Looks like I'll be scheduling mine sometime in April when it stops raining. This one has been staring at me since last year on my TO DO list

Just got back from this recall service.
Super smooth, waited a little over 1.5 hours, took the tech about 15m to actually do then the rest was inspection. I was in the lounge above the service bay so I could see everything. Brakes didn't feel any different IMO. Only thing noted is I will need new tires which I already knew (born on date 2016). They didn't put the car on the lift so it was a high level inspection only. Surprised they didn't mention the sticky buttons.
There were 2 La Ferraris there and the infamous "430IPOD" from a local ferrarichatter here, this is the blue F430 with over 200,000 miles.

At least I got this recall out of the way.
