    Hi all,

    I'll be doing a big update to my 85 rebuild thread soon, but wanted to know if there was a trick to sliding off the brake line clips that hold the brake line ends to the brackets- didn't want to force anything.

    re: Brake lines. Mine look and feel fine but "once I'm here..."

    Probably don't want/need stainless. From the usual vendors they're kinda pricey. Then on the aftermarket side there's Centric and others that are very inexpensive. Is there a brand that's concours correct? Does it matter?

    Take the flat head screw driver, place its tip against the 90 degree bend on the clip, punch it out with a hammer. It's a piece of metal. It will be fine.
