    Getting ready to install new pads on my 78 308 street driven. Any recommendations on type of pads to buy?

    I recently did extensive research on this, and the consensus among 308 owners who actually had installed different than stock was Porterfield R-4 or EBC Yellowstuff. Several carb car guys I spoke to swore by the difference with Yellowstuff, so I went that direction. The sales info person I spoke to first at EBC corporate confirmed that the red or green ones weren't optimal for street use for a car like the 308.

    I also have yellowstuff on my 328, they are great, would highly recommend :)

    I have the red stuff from EBC they are great and a little dust.
