Planning to buy Pagid RSC1 for upcoming track day after doing some research here.

Anyone knows if the pad size is same as 488? I tried asking Pagid but got no responses.

    THX in advance!

Totally unlikely as the callipers are very different between 488 and 296.
Pagid only mentions the 296 GT3 (race car) in their product list, so they may not have pads for the street 296.

Right, they told me it is not available and is different from 488, and don't have plan for it yet...

Guess everyone is stuck with stock pads then?

All pads even fetrari have an fmsi pad shape. Find that and thickness of new oe pad friction material and call someone like performance friction or carbotech and see what they can make. Pads are low tech

Anyone found out what it is? My pads are gone and they're not available on scuderia car parts. Dealer is quoting me a ridiculous $12K for 4 pads!

Hi...unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your question, but I do have my own question... how long did the pads last on the track? I got my 296 a couple of months ago and won't get to track it till spring but my 488 which I do track regularly used to punch through a set in about 250-300 track miles (say 2 days). After a couple of rounds of that, I switched to a Girodisk iron rotor set with Cobalt racing pads and have been super happy since. My dealer is saying that 296 pads last far longer since the battery regen is taking up a chunk of the braking load but was curious to hear directly from someone who has experience.

I was talking to my dealer couple days ago, and he told me the disc should last much longer than expected. As for the regen I don't think it is strong enough(actually dont feel it in qualify mode) to save pads during track use. Putting the e-trail brake and e lsd in consideration i am guessing the pads will have a shorter life running on the same track compared to 488

Oh, lasted less than 10 laps on a 5.4km track lol. But I'm harsh on the brakes during "spirited driving", which is basically any time I take the 296 out.
