    It depends on which brake system you have. If you have a Bendix system, for the front pads use any BMW pad from this table that crosses to a Hawk HB206.565 such as a 79' 528i. Or, you can just use the Hawk pads as I do.

    For the other system, I forget who made it, you can get them from EuroSpares.

    I just replaced my pads with Porterfield R4-S..amazing..(not for race track) ..call Porterfield..1-949-548-4470.great service..and fast..and very affordable..need some warm-up (1 block) incredibley clean..my brakes are ATE .....pad #'s..AP163&Ap32...I hope this is of help to you...Jacques..over..
