    The brake hose has to be made of out EPDM material, which is compatible with brake fluid. If fuel hose is used (which is made from Buna-N) for a brake fluid reservoir application, then it will sweat brake fluid over time. The seals inside the braking system are also made from EPDM rubber. You can purchase EPDM hose in various sizes from Mc-Master Carr.
