Hey guys - so I got everything to do a brake jobs and parking break redo - anyone have a link to the service manual or a DIY as it seems impossible to find documentation for doing this (first time for me). I guess nobody really works on their Ferrari and documents it these days lol.

Nothing special or particularly different from any other car.

People like to talk as if Ferrari handcrafts components of their cars. They are sourced from other vendors (wheels, electronics, switches, etc). In the case of brakes it’s Brembo (which are widely used by various auto manufacturers)

The only thing different with the Brembo brakes on a Ferrari is the stenciling of "Ferrari" on the outer surface.

I agree that there is nothing special about the brakes or working on them. They are just like any other car with fixed calipers and internal hand brake shoes. The only thing that requires some care is keeping track of the shims used between the caliper and its mount. Check your rotors for being correctly centered in their calipers before removing the caliper and be prepared to catch the shims as they fall out when the caliper bolts are removed. If the rotors are centered in their calipers make sure the shims that fell out go back in the same place they came from and you should be good. If the rotor isn't centered in the caliper be prepared to add or subtract shims as necessary to center it.
